First Tech Challenge provides aspiring STEM students valuable skills in technology and teamwork that are directly applicable to the future workforce: strategic thinking, project management, programming CAD, engineering and manufacturing. In preparation for this competition, our team members also improve their knowledge in presentation and organizational skills, writing, fundraising and budgeting.     Students are also trained to adopt FTC’s philosophies of Gracious Professionalism and Cooperation thorough its core values that includes: Discovery, Innovation, Impact, Inclusion, Teamwork and Fun.

Preparing our team to compete regionally and nationally requires significant financial and other resources. The cost of building a robot can itself cost well into thousands of dollars. To date, expenses accumulated have been paid by parents and small donations from prior participants. We need money for all of these funds. Some of our funds will go into helping promote stem in underprivileged societies. So, please sponsor us. Here are some additional details:
